The business partnership saw the coming into being of Murder-By-Design. Which the two jointly own and run. They decided to start writing scripts centered around the murder mystery genre as that is what they both enjoyed. Murder-By-Design has to date wrote about six of these types of scripts.

Performing has always been in their blood and it was only a matter of time before they went back into it. They came up with a two man show which they wrote based on the different experiences they had had in their lives. This show was called Squirrels in the Attic and was very successful from the beginning that up to date a select few venues in Midwestern host the performance of this particular show.

In 2011 the husband and wife combination decided to delve into foreign territory to grow their company by writing their own book. They decided instead of writing separately they would co write and this proved to be the best decision they have made. Most people would think it would have been a challenge but they came yup with a way to be able to incorporate one another's ideas and come up with a theme, plot, scenes and characters that are captivating.

Jarred into Being was their very first serving. It was based on a character Eva who struggled to remain free from being possessed by other individuals whose paths crossed hers. Different authors have reviewed this book and most had good things to say about it.

The success of the first novel made them decided to give their readers another "edge of the sit" novel. An Illegal President has to date proved to be their best work so far. It brings in a bit of controversy, suspense and is in line with their suspense, thriller, and fiction theme.

Pat Lawrence is proving to be the synergy that Pat and Lawrence individually needed to be the success they are today. Their two novels Jarred Into Being and An Illegal President has put them on the map and people just keep hoping for more. It is all thanks to that first kiss they had and well the rest is history.
