The 2012 NFl Supplemental Draft will take place on Thursday, July 12th, and one of the names on everyone's mouth is former Baylor wide receiver, Josh Gordon.
Analysts, like NFL Network Senior Researcher, Chad Reuter, expect Gordon to go early, as high as the second round in some cases:
The 6-3, 225-pound Gordon reportedly ran the 40-yard-dash somewhere in the 4.4 range. That's enough to keep a lot of teams interested in spite of the off the field issues that Gordon has had while in college.
He was suspended at Baylor for a marijuana arrest and was then suspended indefinitely prior to the 2011 season which ultimately led him to transfer to Utah. Still, with the lack of talent available, teams may be willing to take a flyer on him because he's a very talented player on the field.
